Launch
Status: pre-launch. The real KILN token has not been issued. kiln.cash currently runs on a stand-in token so we can test the scanner, the burn flow and the accounting with live market data. The stand-in is not KILN and has no connection to Kiln rewards.
How to know what is real
The real KILN address will be posted in exactly two places, at the same time:
- @itsKilnOnchain on X.
- This page, and the token bar on kiln.cash.
You can also read it from the site itself: https://kiln.cash/api/public/config returns kilnToken and launchStatus. While launchStatus is preview, the address shown is the stand-in and standIn is true. When it is live, the address is KILN.
Until then:
- We do not have a token. Anyone selling "KILN" before the announcement is running a scam.
- We will never DM you a contract address.
- We will never ask you to send funds, approve a contract or "verify" your wallet.
- The stand-in address on the site is clearly marked Test token · Pre-launch. Do not buy it expecting Kiln rewards.
The KILN token
| Property | Decision |
|---|---|
| Chain | Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663) |
| Standard | Plain ERC-20. No staking wrapper, no in-app custody |
| Supply | Fixed at issuance |
| Planned venue | Pons v2 launchpad, bonding curve into locked Uniswap v4 liquidity |
| Holder weight | KILN token-time × rolling burn boost |
| Backing | None. KILN is not equity, not a share, not a debt instrument and not backed by any asset. Its price is set by an open market and can go to zero |
What launch day looks like
- The address is posted on X and here.
- kiln.cash switches to live: the badge disappears, the address gets a copy button, and Buy KILN links to the token's page on the Pons launchpad.
- The first epoch starts at the launch timestamp and closes at the next 6-hour UTC boundary.
- Receipts appear on kiln.cash/proof as epochs finalize.
Before the first real payout
Token issuance, contract deployment, treasury conversions, distributor funding and root publication are separate decisions. Each needs its own review and approval. Finishing the software never authorizes the next step. See What's next.
